Dear Golden Desert Speech and Debate Coaches and Competitors:

The Desert Oasis High School Speech and Debate Team along with the DOHS administration would like to invite you to the Desert Oasis Speech and Debate Tournament to be held Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29, at Desert Oasis High School.  On Friday, we will host two prelim rounds plus one final round of speech events (OO, INF, HI, DI, DUO, FX, IX, POI). On Saturday, we will offer three prelim rounds of debate (LD, CX, PF), a quarter-final (for LD and PF), a semi-final, and a final round.  Congress will have three sessions on Saturday. There will be individual awards based on Friday and Saturday’s results. Sweepstakes awards will include 1st through 5th places for large school and 1st and 2nd places for small school.

Team entry fees will be determined based on the entries at the close of registration.
